Timing is Key for Accurate Weight Measurements
Weighing yourself first thing in the morning after using the restroom and before breakfast or drinking water is the most accurate time to step on the scale. To ensure consistent and accurate readings, weigh yourself once a week at the same time of day, keep your scale on a solid, flat surface, stand barefoot with weight distributed evenly, and wear little to no clothing. If weighing yourself triggers negative thoughts, unsafe habits, anxiety, or sadness, it may be time to break up with your scale.
