A fire broke out at The Last Unicorn restaurant in downtown Waterville, destroying the establishment. One firefighter suffered minor burns, but there were no other reported injuries. Neighboring buildings sustained smoke damage, and firefighters from multiple communities in central Maine were called to the scene. Heavy machinery was brought in to take down what was left of the restaurant.
