BMW unveiled the Concept Speedtop at Villa d’Este 2025, a limited-edition luxury three-door Touring coupe featuring bespoke interior details, a powerful V8 engine, and only 70 units will be produced for collectors and enthusiasts.
BMW has unveiled a Z4 wagon concept at the annual Villa d’Este auto festival, which appears to pay homage to the iconic ‘Clown Shoe’ Z3 M Coupe of the late 1990s. Show cars like this are usually created to subtly get us used to new design ideas that an automaker plans to introduce in the coming years. However, BMW and other automakers have a track record of building, and sometimes showing us, cool concept two-door wagons and never putting them into production.
BMW has teased a new shooting brake concept, the Concept Touring Coupé, based on the Z4 and produced for the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The one-off model is powered by a turbocharged 3.0 straight-six engine and features a unique brown-grey-blue paint job, silver-bronze trim pieces, and 20-spoke alloys. The interior is dual-tone leather produced by Poltrona Frau, and the custom luggage set is made by Schedoni. The shooting brake is inspired by the 328 Touring Coupe and the 02 Touring, and is seen as the Z4 variant BMW is missing from its lineup.
