Louvre and Versailles Palace Evacuated Amid Bomb Threats, France on High Alert
The Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace in Paris were evacuated after receiving bomb threats, as France remains on high alert following a fatal school stabbing by a suspected Islamic extremist. The Louvre was searched, but no bomb was found, and it will reopen as usual. The former royal palace at Versailles also received bomb threats and was evacuated. Additionally, a major Paris train station, Gare de Lyon, was being evacuated due to a possible explosive. The French government has deployed 7,000 troops to increase security, and counterterrorism authorities are investigating the school attack.
