Tiny Satellite Captures Blurry Yet Perfect Image of Earth

The European Space Agency's TRISAT-R satellite captured a blurry and imperfect image of Earth using a tiny camera the size of a coin's edge. The image, taken from a 6,000 km-altitude orbit, provides a unique perspective of our planet and serves as a reminder of our existence in the vast universe. TRISAT-R's main mission is to study the Van Allen Radiation Belts and the Earth's ionosphere. The low-resolution image was a result of the satellite's miniaturized cameras not intended for terrestrial imaging and the challenges of precision pointing.
