
Tragic Crash Claims Lives of 5 US Service Members in Mediterranean
Five members of the U.S. Army Special Operations forces, part of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, were killed in a helicopter crash during a refueling training mission in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Cyprus. The crash is under investigation, and the Pentagon has deployed commando teams to Cyprus in case they are needed for potential evacuations or hostage rescue operations. Defense Secretary Lloyd J.
