Texas airport worker's death ruled a suicide after being pulled into plane engine.

A ground worker died after being sucked into a jet engine at San Antonio International Airport, and the local medical examiner has ruled it a suicide. The National Transportation Safety Board will not investigate as there were no operational safety issues with either the airplane or the airport. The ground worker was employed by Unifi Aviation, which Delta hires for ground services at the airport. Unifi said the incident was unrelated to its operational processes, safety procedures and policies.

Airport worker dies after being sucked into Delta jet engine in San Antonio.

A 27-year-old ramp worker at San Antonio International Airport was killed when he was pulled into the engine of a Delta Air Lines jet that had just landed. The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified the man as David Renner and ruled the death a suicide. The FAA and NTSB are both investigating the fatality.
