Trudeau apologized directly to Zelensky and expressed deep regret for the standing ovation given to Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old former member of the 14th Waffen-SS Grenadier Division. The Speaker of the House, Anthony Rota, who invited Hunka, has resigned, taking responsibility for the mistake.
