Warhammer 40K's 10th edition will feature the Tyranids, a terrifying faction of extra-dimensional creatures with no sense of humanity or emotion, who want to consume all bio-mass. The Imperium of Man, already struggling with heretical Space Marines and Chaos forces, is now facing a big bug infestation on the western front of the Milky Way. The conflict is expected to be a major part of the 10th edition's narrative, with the Tyranids likely to be part of the starter box and featured in the upcoming game Space Marine 2. The Genestealer Cults, a sub-faction of the Tyranids, also pose a threat as they infiltrate worlds and summon hive fleets to attack from the inside.
