Original 'Twister' Director Speaks Out on Why the Film Can Never Be Remade
Jan de Bont, the director of the 1996 blockbuster film Twister, believes that the movie could not be remade today due to the use of real practical effects, such as real ice and falling objects. However, recent films like Nope and Christopher Nolan's works have showcased the use of practical effects, challenging de Bont's claim. A sequel to Twister is currently in the works, but it is expected to rely heavily on CGI effects.
