Dodgers Make Roster Moves, Including Adam Kolarek's Contract Selection.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have selected the contract of left-hander Adam Kolarek and optioned right-hander Andre Jackson to Triple-A while transferring outfielder Trayce Thompson to the 60-day injured list. Kolarek, who was a revelation for the Dodgers in 2019 and 2020, struggled with the Oakland A's before returning to LA on a minor league deal. He has dominated at the Triple-A level this season and figures to give the Dodgers an additional left-handed option in their bullpen. Thompson's oblique strain will keep him out for more than a month, but it is not expected to end his season.
