The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after the body of a 30- to 40-year-old woman was found inside a sealed trash can in Sunland. Officers responded to a call from a residential neighborhood and discovered the body at the scene. LAPD Operations-Valley Bureau detectives are leading the investigation, and no further information has been provided at this time.

Chris Rollins attempted to break the land speed record set by Andy Jennings using a modified trash can with a 6.5-horsepower Honda clone engine.
