"Google Maps introduces 3D 'Immersive View' for Routes"
Google Maps is bringing its Immersive View feature to route planning, allowing users to get a 3D view of their travel routes and better visualize landmarks and buildings. The feature will also show traffic simulations to help users understand what they might encounter on the roads. Immersive View for routes will roll out for 15 cities, including New York City, Paris, and Tokyo, in the coming months, with all 15 cities expected to have the feature by the end of the year. The feature will launch first on iOS and Android.
