
16 Missing After Tourist Yacht Sinks in Red Sea
A tourist diving boat named The Sea Story sank off the coast of Marsa Alam, Egypt, leaving 16 of the 44 people on board missing. The boat, which included 31 tourists of various nationalities and at least a dozen crew members, was on a diving trip when it sank near the Shaab Satayah area. Rescue operations have been underway, with 28 people rescued so far, but efforts have paused for the day. The U.S. Embassy in Cairo reported no known American fatalities. Search-and-rescue teams, including a helicopter and a frigate, have been deployed to assist in the ongoing efforts.
