
Alabama DB Tony Mitchell's Emotional Journey After Arrest and Suspension
Alabama defensive back Tony Mitchell feared his football career was over after being arrested on a drug charge. Mitchell was sentenced to three years of probation with a fine and community service after pleading guilty to possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis. He was suspended from the Alabama team following the arrest but has since been reinstated. Mitchell said he was doing things he knew he shouldn't to try to fit in, but not everybody's your friend.
