Alabama defensive back Tony Mitchell feared his football career was over after being arrested on a drug charge. Mitchell was sentenced to three years of probation with a fine and community service after pleading guilty to possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis. He was suspended from the Alabama team following the arrest but has since been reinstated. Mitchell said he was doing things he knew he shouldn't to try to fit in, but not everybody's your friend.

Alabama defensive back Tony Mitchell feared his football career was over after being arrested on a drug charge. He was sentenced to three years of probation with a fine and community service after pleading guilty to possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis. Mitchell was suspended from the Alabama team following the arrest but has since been reinstated. He had also been charged in March with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell after a traffic stop when authorities said he drove over 141 mph while trying to evade deputies in the Florida panhandle.

Brendan Reed escaped from Auglaize County Jail on Saturday by forcing open a locked door. He was last seen in the area of the Wapakoneta Water Treatment plant wearing a yellow jumpsuit and orange flip-flops. Reed has ties to Darke County and Portland, Indiana, and was in jail on a drug charge. Law enforcement agencies are searching for him and anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
