
Multiple Fatalities in Crash on I-10 near Tonopah Lead to Road Closure
Three people were killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound I-10 near Tonopah, Arizona. A speeding Toyota Highlander struck two individuals who were standing outside their Nissan Frontier pickup, resulting in the deaths of the Nissan Frontier passenger, the Highlander driver, and the Highlander passenger. The Nissan Frontier driver was flown to a Phoenix hospital, while the two remaining Highlander passengers were also transported to a Valley hospital. The freeway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
