The University of Sydney has partnered with EnduroSat to launch the TOLIMAN mission, which will search for signs of life in the Alpha Centauri star system. Led by Professor Peter Tuthill and backed by Breakthrough Initiatives, the mission aims to determine if the planets in the neighboring star system are capable of hosting life. The team will use a compact and customized space telescope developed by Tuthill and his team to capture highly precise measurements. The data collected will be sent back to Earth for analysis by the researchers at the University of Sydney and other institutions involved in the mission.
