John Lydon revealed that he joined The Masked Singer US in 2021 to give his late wife Nora Forster a sense of fun, as she was suffering from Alzheimer's and he felt she could guess his identity with the clues given. Nora passed away at the age of 80 following a five-year battle with Alzheimer's. John and Nora had been together for 47 years, and he had been her full-time carer for five years. The former Sex Pistols frontman married Nora in 1979 and recently admitted that life without her would be unbearable.
