Michael Caine Retires from Acting, 'The Great Escaper' Marks His Final Film
Michael Caine, the legendary British actor, has officially announced his retirement from acting at the age of 90. His final film will be The Great Escaper, where he plays a World War II veteran. Caine stated that he doesn't want to continue playing elderly roles and believes there won't be leading men at his age. Despite his retirement, he is listed for one more role in the Now You See Me series, but production has been stalled due to an actors strike. Additionally, Caine will be releasing his first novel, Deadly Game, in November.
