The Game Awards 2023 broke viewership records with an estimated 118 million global livestreams, a 15% increase from the previous year. The event was streamed across more than 30 platforms, including YouTube and Twitch, and over 17,000 content creators co-streamed the show. Larian Studios' "Baldur's Gate 3" was the big winner, taking home six trophies, including Game of the Year. The show also featured first-looks at upcoming projects, including "Exodus" and "God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla," and Sega announced plans to reboot retro franchises.
