Texas Rent Relief Program Reopens for Pandemic-Impacted Applicants.
The Texas Rent Relief program reopened on Tuesday to provide rental assistance to those struggling to pay rent or utility bills. Technical issues arose due to the high volume of people trying to access the site, but the issue has since been resolved. The program has $96 million available and will be the last time this help is made available. Applicants have two weeks to submit their application, and the money can be used for past due or future rent and utility bills. The program is for those impacted during the pandemic, and if you received help in the past, you can apply again.
