
Arkansas Congressman's Wife Terri Womack Dies at 68
Terri Lynn Williams Womack, wife of U.S. Rep. Steve Womack, died Sunday at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville after a brief illness. She was 68. Born in DeWitt, Arkansas, she spent more than 35 years in public service, including roles as chief clerk for Rogers Municipal Court and later stints in the circuit court system, retiring in 2019. Rep. Womack described her as his lifelong partner; Gov. Sarah Sanders offered condolences, highlighting her support for his career. Terri was an avid gardener and cook who cherished her three sons, four grandchildren, and beloved pets Auggie and Cooper, and she is survived by her husband and family.
