Packers' Safety Competition: Uncertainty and Inexperience, but Confidence and Consistency Sought
The Green Bay Packers are pleased with the competition for their starting safety position, with only one player in the room having played a significant number of snaps. While Darnell Savage is expected to fill one spot, the other is up for grabs between Rudy Ford, Tarvarius Moore, and newly signed Jonathan Owens. The Packers are looking for a two-way safety who can cover and tackle, and the competition could last until the start of the regular season.
