Packers secure defensive backfield with re-signing and new addition.

Safety Rudy Ford has re-signed with the Green Bay Packers on a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million, while the details of former San Francisco 49ers safety Tarvarius Moore's contract are unknown. Ford played more defensive snaps last year than expected and may end up starting on defense this year. The Packers have built up depth in their safety unit with the additions of Ford and Moore, as well as the return of Tariq Carpenter and Innis Gaines.
