Remembering the Legacy of Pete Brown and Jim Brown.
Pete Brown, the co-writer of Cream's hits "Sunshine of Your Love" and "White Room," died at the age of 82 in London due to cancer. He was known for his anti-establishment views and dedication to his creative endeavors. Brown collaborated with Cream drummer Ginger Baker and bass player Jack Bruce, and continued to work with Bruce for decades after Cream disbanded. Brown was featured in two documentary films and an accompanying album, "Heavenly Cream," is set to be released later this year. Survivors include his wife, daughter, and son.
