Mike Pence added as witness in Georgia prosecutors' case against Trump for election subversion
Former Vice President Mike Pence has been listed as a potential witness in the Georgia election subversion case against former President Donald Trump. The witness list, which remains under seal, includes over 150 names. Pence's inclusion suggests that the Fulton County district attorney's office is preparing to call him to testify. Pence, who strongly rebuked Trump's claims of widespread voter fraud, has already expressed a willingness to testify in any federal trial. Four of Trump's co-defendants have already pleaded guilty and agreed to testify in the case. Trump's lead counsel in the Georgia case believes that the district attorney's office may attempt to call Pence as a witness and has requested access to relevant documents and materials.
