Effortlessly Create Clean 2D Materials with KISS
An international consortium of surface scientists has developed a new technique called Kinetic In Situ Single-layer Synthesis (KISS) for creating large and pure 2D samples from various materials using three distinct substrates. The KISS technique allows the production of air-sensitive 2D materials on a range of substrates using standard equipment present in virtually every surface science laboratory. The isolated samples may be used for building devices from the 2D materials produced using the KISS technique.
