Millions at Risk: Severe Thunderstorms Threaten Mid-South and Metro Atlanta.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for parts of Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi until 10:00 p.m. The Mid-South has been upgraded to an ENHANCED RISK for severe weather, with increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon capable of producing damaging winds and hail. Several counties in East Arkansas, North Mississippi, and West Tennessee are at risk.
