Massive storage yard fire forces closure of 10 Freeway in downtown LA
A massive fire broke out in a downtown Los Angeles storage yard, spreading to another yard and prompting the closure of the 10 Freeway in both directions. Firefighters from 26 companies worked to contain the blaze, which engulfed multiple trailers and destroyed several vehicles. The fire engine that responded to the scene also burned in the inferno. The freeway is expected to remain closed for at least 24 hours while authorities assess the damage.
