Quake near Ohlman, Illinois, rattles central region; felt across St. Louis area
A 3.8-magnitude earthquake near Ohlman, Illinois, occurred at about 1:27 a.m. Tuesday, roughly 5.5 miles underground and about 90 miles northeast of St. Louis. No damage was reported, but tremors were felt across the Metro East and into Missouri, and USGS encouraged residents to submit Did You Feel It reports to aid assessments.
