There are new hints that Spotify's long-anticipated lossless streaming feature, potentially called Spotify HiFi, may finally be launching soon, as indicated by hidden mentions in the app and code, although it has not yet been officially released.
Leaked Spotify code suggests that the streaming service's HiFi tier will offer up to 24-bit/44.1kHz hi-res audio, an upgrade over the previously promised CD quality, but still below competitors like Tidal and Qobuz.
