Rivian expands Sport Mode to all R1s, broadens Launch Mode, and debuts Apple Watch digital key
Rivian's 2026.03 software update adds Sport Mode to all R1 Dual‑Motor models (Gen 1 and Gen 2), extends Launch Mode to Gen 1 Quad‑Motor and both Dual‑Motor Performance variants, and introduces an Apple Watch app that can serve as a digital key (Gen 2 supports proximity unlocking; Gen 1 requires the watch app in the foreground).
