"Xbox Game Pass: A Game-Changer for Spirittea's Development Journey"

Indie game publisher No More Robots revealed the impact of Xbox Game Pass on their latest release, Spirittea. The Game Pass deal allowed the developer to delay the game's launch for a year and add over a hundred hours of additional content. Over 100,000 players tried Spirittea through Xbox Game Pass in its first week, with Xbox and Nintendo Switch accounting for 80% of the game's revenue. Many players who tried the game on Game Pass went on to purchase it on other platforms. The financial success of Spirittea has given the developer the freedom to continue supporting the game with post-launch content.

"Discover the Enchanting World of Spirittea on Xbox Game Pass and Steam"

Spirittea, a management sim game developed by Cheesemaker Games, combines elements of Stardew Valley and Spirited Away. Players take on the role of a young entrepreneur tasked with renovating an old mountain bathhouse and tending to supernatural creatures in order to free the town from its spectral infestation. The game features tasks such as boarding, bathing, and feeding the spirits, as well as maintaining the bathhouse and making friends with the locals. While the visuals may not match the charm of the Studio Ghibli film, Spirittea offers an enjoyable experience and serves as a way to pass the time until the release of Haunted Chocolatier, the next game from Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe. The game is available on Steam and as part of the Game Pass subscription service.
