Amazon Web Services introduces European 'sovereign' cloud to comply with stricter privacy standards

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced plans to launch a sovereign cloud in Europe, specifically catering to government and highly regulated industries. AWS will initially launch in Germany and subsequently expand its services to all European customers.
