Ukrainian Forces Launch Counteroffensive Against Russian Positions.

The 25th Air Assault Brigade, one of Ukraine's oldest brigades, has joined the Ukrainian assault along the Mokri Yaly River, indicating that Kyiv is committing more forces to its southern counteroffensive. Ukrainian forces have been attacking along three or four axes in southern Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Oblasts since early last week. The goal is to open a gap somewhere along the Russian front line so that reinforcements can exploit that gap and race toward the Sea of Azov. The axis running along the Mokri Yaly River might be the most fruitful for the Ukrainians.
