Sennheiser has announced the Ambeo Soundbar Mini, a smaller and more affordable version of its immersive audio soundbars. Priced at $800, the Mini packs 250 watts of amplification power, four full-range drivers, and two four-inch subwoofers. It features Sennheiser's 3D audio technology, which uses four microphones to calibrate the soundbar to any space, and supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X MPEG-H, and Sony's 360 Reality Audio. The Mini can be connected to a TV or display through a single HDMI 2.1 (eARC) port and offers WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity for streaming music. However, it only supports Sennheiser's own Ambeo Subs and lacks compatibility with wireless rear satellite speakers. The Ambeo Soundbar Mini will be available on September 1st.
