Rode Unveils Compact Wireless Mic for Smartphone Creators
Rode has launched the Wireless Micro, a $149 two-microphone kit designed for smartphone users, aimed at improving audio quality for content creators like TikTok users. The kit includes a receiver that connects via USB-C or lightning port, and transmitters that clip onto subjects, offering a 20-20 kHz frequency range and 73 dB signal-to-noise ratio. It features automatic pairing and GainAssist technology for level control, and comes with a charging case for extended use. However, it lacks external mic connectivity and Bluetooth capability.
