"Slender Man Attacker Seeks Release from Psychiatric Institute Again"
Morgan Geyser, one of the perpetrators of the 2014 Slender Man attack, is seeking release from the mental institution she was committed to after pleading guilty to stabbing a classmate. She has requested a new round of medical tests and conditional release if the results are favorable. Geyser and Anissa Weier were 12 when they lured their classmate to a park and stabbed her to please the fictional character Slender Man. Weier was granted conditional release in 2021, and Geyser previously withdrew a similar release request in 2022.
