"New Part-Time Shoulder Lane Connects Southern California and Las Vegas on I-15"
A new part-time shoulder lane will open on the southbound I-15 between Southern California and Las Vegas, providing relief from traffic congestion on select days of the week. The lane will be available every Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will extend past the California/Nevada state border. In addition, construction on a bullet train project between Southern California and Las Vegas is expected to start in 2023 and be completed by 2026 or 2027.
