Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting Ends High-Speed Chase in Seward County
A high-speed chase on Interstate 80 in Seward County, Nebraska, ended with a deputy shooting and killing a suspect near the Pleasant Dale exit. The driver had refused to exit the vehicle and was seen holding a weapon. The passenger had already exited the vehicle. The Nebraska State Patrol Special Investigations Team will handle the investigation, and a Grand Jury will be held in Lancaster County at a later date. No deputies were injured in the incident.
