"Walmart Introduces Nationwide Sensory-Friendly Shopping Hours"

Walmart will introduce daily "sensory-friendly" hours in all of its stores across the United States and Puerto Rico, starting from November 10. During these hours, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Walmart will create a less stimulating environment by turning off the radio, changing TV walls to static images, and lowering the lights where possible. The initiative aims to make the stores more inclusive for individuals with sensory disabilities. Walmart ran a successful pilot program during the back-to-school season, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback prompted the company to continue the initiative. This move reflects the growing trend of sensory-friendly experiences across various industries.
