Wisconsin Engineer Convicted of Deadly Stabbing on Apple River
Nicolae Miu, 54, was found guilty on lesser charges including first-degree reckless homicide and four counts of recklessly endangering safety in the stabbing incident that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old and injuries to four others during a river tubing excursion in Wisconsin. Miu claimed self-defense, stating that the victims had stolen his property and attacked him. The guilty verdict led to the revocation of Miu's bond, and a sentencing date has not been set.
