Teenage GTA 6 hacker receives indefinite hospital sentence for leaks and hacks
Arion Kurtaj, an 18-year-old member of the Lapsus$ cybercrime group, has been sentenced indefinitely to a "secure hospital" by a UK judge. Kurtaj, who leaked assets associated with the upcoming video game Grand Theft Auto VI, is considered a high-risk individual due to his abilities and desire to commit cybercrime. He will remain in the secure hospital unless doctors determine he no longer poses a danger. Another 17-year-old Lapsus$ member involved in breaching tech giants NVIDIA and BT/EE has been sentenced to a Youth Rehabilitation Order. Lapsus$ has previously claimed responsibility for high-profile cyberattacks and data breaches.
