Cory Hill has been formally charged with second-degree murder for the killing of his estranged wife, Shakeira Rucker. The charges come after Rucker's body was found behind a stack of tires in a Self-Storage facility registered to Hill. The State Attorney's office explained that the charge allows the defendant to be held without bond while they continue building their case for a potential first-degree murder indictment. Rucker's family is demanding more charges against Hill and is seeking the death penalty with no possibility of parole. The funeral for Shakeira Rucker is scheduled for December 2nd.
