Georgia Bail Bondsman Scott Hall Pleads Guilty as First Trump Co-Defendant in Election Interference Case
Scott Hall, one of the defendants in the Georgia election interference case related to the 2020 presidential election, has become the first to plead guilty. He changed his plea from not guilty to guilty on five misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with election duties. Hall was sentenced to five years probation, a $5,000 fine, and 200 hours of community service. He was alleged to have been involved in the unlawful breach of election equipment and theft of voter data in Coffee County. As part of the plea agreement, Hall will be required to testify at any future trials.
