Arrest Made in Fatal Beating of Maryland Father Protecting Child
Maryland police have arrested Trevor Taylor in connection with the beating death of Christopher Wright, who was fatally injured while defending a child after a schoolyard fight. Taylor faces charges of manslaughter, assault, affray, and disorderly conduct. Wright had intervened to prevent the child from fighting and was attacked by a group of individuals who had come to his residence. He succumbed to his injuries on May 20.
