Terrifying CCTV footage captured the moment an Oregon man narrowly avoided being struck by a runaway four-foot saw blade that barreled across a parking lot and embedded itself into a convenience store wall in Eugene. Shane Reimche had just entered the Quick Trip Market when the blade struck, causing the entire shop to shake. The blade had come loose from a nearby construction site and may have been due to a missing bolt or operator error.
