Gators Win Opener in Dramatic Walk-Off Victory at Palo Alto Regional.
The Florida Gators softball team defeated LMU 3-2 in walk-off fashion in their first game of the Palo Alto Regional. Sarah Longley hit a home run to tie the game in the seventh inning, and Pal Egan hit the game-winning RBI single. The Gators will face the winner of Stanford and Long Beach State in the winner's bracket. This was the Gators' sixth walk-off victory of the season.
