"A's Impact: From Oakland Coliseum to Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento"
Major League Baseball is coming to West Sacramento, raising questions about how the Sacramento River Cats, a Triple-A franchise of the Giants, will share Sutter Health Park with the A's. The park, which has a capacity of around 14,000 seats, will need modifications to meet MLB standards, including upgrading LED lighting and adding an additional clubhouse. The A's will play in West Sacramento for the next three seasons with the option of a fourth before moving to their permanent home in Las Vegas. Ticket information and pricing will be available after the MLB schedule is released this summer, with priority access for current A’s and River Cats season ticket members. Officials are expected to address the impacts on the River Cats at a 10 a.m. news conference.
